Thanks to Mike Martin and co. for giving us something to talk about - two commitments in as many days for the Bears.

Yesterday, Kino Lilly ‘21, a guard from Landon, MD committed - had a couple mid-major offers, has reached 1,000 points as a junior and looks like he has a little bounce judging by the few highlights of him floating around on Twitter.

Today, Kimo Ferrari ‘20, a point guard from San Diego committed today - he finished his career by earning POTY honors in his conference and was named to the All San Diego Section First Team. He’s only 6” 0’ and tore his meniscus last summer, hence the lack of notable offers. I look forward to an eventual “Brown rides Ferrari to victory” headline.

Kino and Kimo? That won't be confusing.

I am going to predict many wrong combinations of Kino, Kimo, Ferrari, and Lilly in the months and years ahead.

Well, if it had, you would have read that Kimo averaged 14.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, & 4.8 assists. His coach says, “Kimo is a huge part of our success. He’s a leader. He’s tough. He’s unselfish. And has a high BB IQ.” Speaking of that, he had a 3.8 GPA and scored 1440 SAT. Kimo says his torn meniscus was “nothing serious. I was walking up and down stairs a few hours after surgery.” An opponents’ coach says, “Kimo isn’t just a good player. He’s a real good player. He runs that team. He does a lot of things right.” His sister Paulina plays tennis at Columbia.

I think Kino (the 2021 kid) has a chance to play when he gets here. Small but pretty electric. Kimo (2020) looks like a nice little guard who I’m sure is still recovering from the miniscus tear, and who might bring some depth at the point.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)
