How could Juzang have been drafted when the draft has not yet occurred (scheduled for 6/25 but will likely be postponed)?

Juzang was drafted by the Heat. The Saigon Heat.
He was the first overall pick in the Vietnamese Basketball Association draft. He was eligible for the draft because he's Vietnamese born.
Kind of like a college buddy of mine who was Canadian born and thus the first overall pick in the Canadian Football League draft.

OK, I interpreted your comment as that he was not eligible for foreign play because he was drafted by the NBA. I wonder how much Vietnamese teams pay.

It looks like Juzang's going to be playing for the Saigon Heat's development team in the VBA, and will be the first Division 1 player to play in the VBA (per the comments on this YouTube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG6xhMyNmu4 )
The Saigon Heat's first team plays in the ASEAN Basketball League, which is a cross nations league in South East Asia. Princeton's Amir Bell played in the ASEAN League in the 19-20 season and had a lot of success, so I think Juzang should be able to make Saigon's 1st team and contribute there. Not sure what salaries are like there, or how his contract works being drafted to the VBA team

Lewis, Baker, Bassey, and potentially Welsh are the 3 graduating seniors remaining "eligible" among that original 2020 class. Aiken and Towns have been considered, as of this May 26 article 2 of the top 5 transfers in this year's group.
Lewis is the most accomplished of the three, but his size places him as a small 2 or large 3. Baker, the most inconsistent of the three, has 6'11" size, which can't be taught, and Bassey might be a "3 and D". Not sure what Henry Welsh's opportunities are.
Any other thoughts from those who know more than I do?

Welsh just got engaged to his longtime girlfriend (a volleyball player at Stanford).
Congrats to him!

Interesting that the Vietnamese league has teams named both for Ho Chi Minh City (post-war name) and Saigon (pre-war name).
Was that HFB player on the '97 team Fleiszer or Kacyvenski? They were both stars on the first team to be recruited by Murphy and have an undefeated Ivy record, I recall...

It was Tim.
Isaiah was a couple of years younger and was drafted in the NFL.
