One of the nicest guys to ever come through the program is facing more adversity than is represented in the GFM link above. Challenging times for everyone I realize but in the Bucknell Basketball family, like Springsteen sang “we take care of our own”

I would sincerely appreciate your consideration and generosity

Hope all on the Bucknell Board are well

I've seen a number of anonymous contributions post my recent link.

If any are derived from here I wanted to express my heartfelt thsnks. Cosi's brother was also a Bucknell Football captain in the late 70's

Regards

I know two who have donated in the past few days.

For those who don't go back that far, Carl Cosimano was a guard for the Bison in the early 80's. Played for the very good 24-5 team in 1983-84 that lost an incredibly painful OT loss to Rider in the ECC championship game. Still ranks in my personal top three most painful losses.

Tx 137...Cosi if you were fortunate to know him was just one of those people that was innately likeable. Funny that he played with Cal Puriefoy...they were bookend personalities. Never got to call Cosi teammate but blessed to call him a friend. Don’t want to abridge his privacy so I’ll just leave it at sometimes life can be cruel and you get dealt a really bad hand of cards. He’s fighting the good fight and I’m so proud of him.

Turned down a football scholarship from University of Maryland and was good baseball player as well. 137... did he play baseball with Jimmy Cawley in the early 80’s as well?

Don't know, but I do know he never lettered. At that time, getting a letter was not automatic however, so it is possible he played at some point.

I am pretty confident that he did not play baseball.
