Danilo Djuricic is entering the transfer portal:
I have decided to enter the transfer portal with full support from Coach Amaker and the coaching staff in order to explore options for an extra year following my graduation from Harvard.

That is too bad for the league and Harvard. Seems like this means the freshmen bigs will really need to contribute, as Djuricic’s transfer would leave Forbes as the only returning big who played more than 25 total minutes last year.

Sad to hear because because this is a growing trend in the league.
Djuricic should have plenty of suitors. Have enjoyed the opportunity to see him play the past few years.

Seems like a pretty clear indication that there probably isn't going to be an Ivy season this year. In that case, Danilo's choices would be to either take the year off, like some of the Yale seniors might be, and then come back in 2021 when Harvard has a bunch of high recruits coming in, or to graduate this year, enter the transfer portal, and then get a year of grad school for free.
This, unfortunately, is absolutely the best choice for him. It's too bad, I was looking forward to seeing what he could do with a bigger role this year. Most of all, I'll remember his 17 points on 9 shots (183 ORTG) in our win up in New Haven this year.

Gotta agree with you mobrien that this may be a harbinger of things [not] to come. Wish Danilo the best of good things. A great team player.
Been thinking about how strange (aka awful) it will feel to get my Harvard basketball fix by watching Bryce compete for Seton Hall and Seth for OSU.
I'd add that 4 players have left Harvard hockey for the NHL this fall.
Going to be a long boring winter I fear.

Important to remember that Danilo reclassed to join Harvard a year early (Canadians always have that option). So, by taking a grad year, he’d actually be a senior with the “right†class. And when he was a 2018 prospect, he was a Top 100 player with Power 5 offers.
I also wonder what might happen if the whole college basketball world starts in January. The assumption right now seems to be that the Ivy League will be more punitive than the rest of college basketball, but if they all start at the same time, I do wonder if more players will come back to the floor.
