Genuinely exciting. Widely recruited and Brown’s first three-star recruit in the history of verbalcommits. Some parts of his game look somewhat raw still but others look polished. Huge get for this team in what has turned into a really good-looking class.

Have not seen an official roster announcement yet, but reports are that Nana Owusu-Anane will be named to Canada's U19 team for the upcoming U19 World Cup in July.
He joins a pretty impressive list of high major recruits and players coming off of freshman seasons in the NCAA

Owusu-Anane was officially named to Canada's U19 team, and played 20 minutes off the bench today in their opening 80-71 win over Lithuania. He was 3/3 from the field for 6 points with 4 rebounds

That’s so great. The Canadian national team also lists a few other Ivy players (including Brown’s Ndur, Princeton’s Lwellyn) but not sure if they’re actually on a squad or just on reserve. There’s a lot of players on the Canada Basketball site across the various teams and I’m sure not all of them are actually on a squad.

In a quarter final win over Spain this AM, Nana had 10 points on 4 of 5 from the floor and 2 of 2 from the line, to go along with 5 rebounds.
