In an email sent out today, Nathan Davis said the following, among other things:
- "The Thanksgiving break allowed our players to go home and see their families for a few days. They have now returned, been tested and are in a semi-isolation while we wait for them to take their second COVID Test since returning. They will be able to move back into their dorm rooms soon and we will resume our full practice in preparation for our first game once the final exam period concludes."
- "“Tier 1†is a designation by the NCAA for players, coaches, trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, and anyone else that will be around the team on a regular basis. For our program it amounts to 23 people. Being “Tier-1†means that you must be tested at least once a week in the weeks leading up to competition and when games begin you must test three times a week. You must limit contact to small groups, social distance, and be masked at all times. Furthermore, being “Tier-1†means that you cannot travel out of the immediate area or receive visitors. "
- "Without classes taking place until February 1st, we have a very flexible schedule where we can practice, lift and workout in the late morning and afternoons."

Trevor Woodruff sent out a similar email on the women's side. Among other things, he talked a bit about the practice environment:
"We are currently working with our players in a one on one setting to minimize the amount of cross contact we have. This will continue for a few more days before we transition to small group workouts and eventually a traditional full-team setting. In addition, our team continues to ‘mask-up’ at all times, even during workouts and stick to a strict max-occupancy number in both the locker room and all other areas on-campus."

I don't like it. I need fans, I need the Bison Girls. At this point I'd even take the golden baton twirler or even the wigmeister. Its going to be nice seeing them play, but I'm really looking forward to the next year or two years from now. This year for sports I'm writing off across the board.

Paulie, I feel your pain. It has definitely been a tough year for many people and will continue to be so for a while.

Just watched a local news story on WBRE-TV on Bison men’s and women’s basketball and how they are handling the Covid circumstances. Comical to watch the men all wearing masks while on the court but not one with the mask over the nose...some are just on the chin. Not sure why even go through the motions. Meanwhile the women, for the most part, wore their masks correctly.

Ok, can somebody explain what a “virtual season ticket†is to this old guy? I mean all games are televised in some way shape or form, so what is a “ VST?â€

It's a fundraiser with some nice perks; ESPN+ subscription, fan cutouts, drawings for memorabilia, and a few other things.
Support the programs (Men's and Women's) and get one

The reception was pretty laid back and I got the vibe that both the men's and women's teams are excited to play and also ready and prepared to play under the circumstances. Its going to be a celebration to see them play and I'm treating this weekend as watching a scrimmage. Win or lose, its going to be good to be out there and just what the doctor ordered for both teams. Good luck Bucknell!

I'm curious to see what Screen and Turner can do at this level.

I am looking forward to seeing some basketball, even if it is a weird time. Curious to see how Screen, Turner and Latimer (if he is cleared to play) fit into the rotation, especially. If Rice really did improve and get much stronger, with other offensive options on the court, maybe PG won’t be an issue.
