Ellie started the first two games of the season for Oregon State - two fairly easy OOC wins. In total, she played 45 minutes while averaging 4.5 ppg, 4 rpg, 4.5 apg, 1 bpg, and 1 tpg. She only hit 1-6 on threes however - a long way from the 43% she hit for the Bison, but a small sample size.
Oregon State now plays 22 consecutive PAC12 games, including a match-up next week vs rival Oregon - who has won 22 straight games and last year's PAC12 title.

This is the 3rd loss in a row for the Beavers. They had 20 turnovers and gave up 17 OReb. Not going to win many games when you give up that many free possessions. This loss will certainly knock them out of the top 25.

Unfortunately, after 12/21's game with Washington was cancelled, today's UCLA and Sunday's USC home games have both been postponed indefinitely. There are cases within the team/staff and they are in their protocol. Tough break

More bad news: Cal and Stanford both postponed this week. I think the rules will allow Ellie to have another year of eligiblity. Next game scheduled now is 1/15

OSU beat UCLA on the road 71-64, finally pulling away from a see-saw in the fourth quarter. Ellie had 7 pts, 4 RB and 3 Assists; unfortunately, her time was limited by foul trouble and she fouled out. But a good win for the team!!

Prior to this win, OSU was slated in as an 11 seed in Charlie Creme's bracketology. This should move them up a bit. Oregon had been a 5 seed.
The Bison btw are listed as a 12 seed, although with their limited number of games I'd be surprised if they get that high a seed. Hopefully I'll get a chance to be proven wrong.
