Rice is playing great. I would start Latimer over Ellis.

I don’t know what game you’re watching...but we have played hard and fought and battled. Lafayette is pretty good!

Good to see them playing to the end. They came back a couple of times in this game, but the lapses are too frequent and too long. Very impressed with Latimer. Glad to see him on the court at the end. Rice had a great game. He is a bright spot this weekend. Lafayette looked very good today. They're going to be a handful. I would not be surprised to see them in the championship game.

I have not posted a whole lot this season. Having nothing good to say, I'll take the high road . . . for a while.
New season, new team, new dream . . .

I don’t suppose we can console ourselves by virtue of having played two of the leagues best 4 teams ( maybe best 3 , not so BFF sure about Boston anymore).
Also, I wonder if Ellis is not better suited to coming off the bench as a 3 point shooter. He seemed to hit for a higher % that way. Anyway, I’ve seen enough of him as a starter.

If we do not win a game this week, we probably never will.

It could be worse. Boston lost to Colgate by 44 yesterday. Colgate looks much more like a championship team than Boston, despite their loss to Army last weekend.

One interesting stat from that game. Boston hit an incredible 1-29 from three point range. A little bit of that was due to the Colgate defense, most most of it was just atrocious shooting. Colgate in the meantime hit 45% of their threes.

If you equalize the three-point shooting, which often is fairly random from one game to the next, that accounts for about 36 points of the margin. Colgate also had a bit of an edge on the boards.
