Nothing is set in stone anymore these days but Bucknell is set to open the season at NC State on November 9th.

Two other games that have been reported are Richmond and Siena. Siena should be home, since that is presumably a continuation of the series that began in 2019-20. Other games that are part of a postponed series might be Princeton, Hofstra, Rider, and Albany. Of those four, only Rider would be played in Sojka if they simply do what should have happened last year.
Hopefully, as weak as the team figures to be, they will book some possibly winnable games.

I think we will give the team another season and re-up our season tickets. I miss being in Sojka and can only hope better days are ahead.

Not a chance. His mediocre record is the perfect fit for a school being merged with Lock Haven and Mansfield.

Haha...155-194 in his Bloom career, including 7-19 last year doesn’t even qualify as mediocre. When Bucknell’s Mike MacFarlane took the AD job at Bloom I had hopes of Bloom basketball getting back to quality play...but nope. Must not know of anyone who wants the job, because why would Sanow keep his job? Bloom basketball was a quality product under Charlie Chronister but has been poor ever since.

I had Charlie for one of my three required PE classes. He was a solid man and a good coach. He had an NBA opportunity made available to him by Chuck Daly. Chuck is arguably our best known alumni.
Of course that’s all changing now as the PSAC’s days are numbered.

Yes, the PSAC is a thing of the past. I remember going to Nelson Field House and watching or listening to those great Bloom teams back in the 80’s on the radio, John Chaney visiting with Cheney....different times.

It's strange looking back how infrequently the two schools played....especially in football. I was at the last game in 1993. Bucknell never scheduled Bloomsburg again after barely escaping with the win. It was 21-0 nothing at halftime and I almost left. 21-16 was the finally as Bloom dominated the 2nd half.
Use to wrestle each other more too as both are Division 1.

It has been confirmed that the Siena game will be in Sojka.

The Richmond game will be on the road. Bison will be a prohibitive underdog vs a good Spider team.

And every team they play. Assuming Screen hits the weight room, the Bison will be .500 in the Patriot League.

You're very optimistic. I doubt any preseason ranking will pick them for better than 8th.

Per John Rothstein, Richmond and Bucknell starting a three-year series.
First game is Wednesday, Dec 22 at Richmond. We're back at Richmond next season and then at our place in '23-24.

This game is December 22nd. According to Rothstein Bucknell will go to Richmond again in the ‘22-‘23 season and Richmond will come to sojka in the ‘23-‘24 season.

The Illinois State game is part of the Cancun Challenge. After that game, the Bison head for Cancun to play Mercer on the 23rd and either Rider or Middle Tennessee State the next day.
