Jimmy Sotos was a DNP vs Akron. Not sure what this is about, but hope to see his talent shine for the Buckeyes at some point this season

Sotos had offseason surgery on his shoulder - which he dislocated again. Not sure if he's ready to play.

Paul Newman at Albany as well.
Newman started in their first game the other night: a 21 point home loss to Towson. Ended up playing 11 minutes and had some foul trouble. Albany has a new coaching staff and a lot of new players. One of the assistants is Matt Griffin, John's brother.

Two more players to add to the watch list:
- Tessa Brugler started for Drexel. Had 12 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 steals in 39 minutes. Lost 52-50 to Marist. Tessa is one of the team's captains. At Bucknell, she was one of the most improved players in the program's history. Rarely played her first two years, then got fitter and developed some strong post moves. Made All-PL her final two years.
- Autumn Ceppi is slated as a starting forward for Bentley. Team opens up tomorrow night.

Let's not forget Ellie Mack at OSU. She had 14 pts and 6 rebounds on 6-7 shooting in an exhibition game win over Western Washington at 73-43. Mack sunk a 3-pointer to give Oregon State a 28-26 lead mid-way through the second quarter

Walter Ellis played 3 mins in GC first game. Seems like he's coming off an injury of some kind, so still working back

Meeks today had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals in a win over Loyola. He is averaging 17.7 ppg over his first three games - all wins. Their new coach, Pat Kelsey, was very successful at Winthrop and no doubt will be successful at Charleston.

Kahliel Spear continues to look impressive with a 22 Point, 8 Rebound effort against a very good Ohio team. He's shooting 10-11 from the FT Line so far this season as well, but struggling from 3.

Hopefully four years. He showed some loyalty by coming back after three of the team's core players transferred, including his classmate who was Pennsylvania POY in a large school class.
