Cornell led by as many as 27 in route to an 89-75 win. Greg Dolan looked great in a return to Buffalo: 12 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and didn't miss a shot. Dickson added 17 points. Overall the Big Red had 23 assists on 34 FGs.
Earl used the time off well; while their Kenpom rating is still catching up, IMHO this is the best Cornell has looked as team since Steve was coaching here.

Noticed Cornell beating up on another weak squad, Keuka College, 65-38 at the half.
Cornell fans, who is Keller Boothby and how is he shooting 57% on 3's?
For the rest of us who don't know this guy, he plays off the bench, about 20 minutes per game, and midway through today's game is shooting 27 for 45 on 3's or 57%! That's over 3 makes per game, pretty high volume.
As a 6'7" sophomore from Plano, Texas this is the first we've seen of him.
Appears he can rebound (4.6/g and shoot FT's (9-10)) as well. Red headed secret weapon?

For what its worth, entering today Boothby was the second leading 3 point shooter by % in the country. Boothby was 3 for 5 today. The only guy ahead of him (Georgia Tech's Davoe) went 1-5. Boothby appears to now be leading the nation in 3 pt shooting %.
Cornell is 49th in the nation on 3pt % at 37.8%, trailing only Harvard at 38.2% in the Ivy League.
Other than Boothby, Cornell hits only 34%.

Among other things, he's the current Ivy Rookie of the week.
He's one of the eight guys who average 15-25 minutes per game as part of Earl's use everyone strategy. His 57% three point shooting will certainly cool, but he's 3 for 4 on two pt FGs. Which explains why he has just 6 offensive rebounds this season, despite having good rebounding skills. He lives behind the arc on offense.
I'm not a scout, but his form looks solid to me.
