Princeton has 14 players on their bench for crying out loud. How the hell for a team suit 19 players for a game.

1. There is no NCAA limit at all.
2. Some Ivy teams bring in 6+ recruits every year. There is no NCAA limit at all since they don't use athletic scholarships.
3. Army and Navy have had as many as 24 suited up for games.

Screen might be out with the flu. The team has been battling it.

Te: Screen, I noticed him limping at Hofstra. I’m guessing he retweeked that ankle. By keeping him out tonight he gets the benefit of the exam break and hopefully is ready to go after that.

Bad coaching can do that.

Some betters are probably unhappy. The Bison whittled a 25-point deficit down to 13 in the final 10 or so minutes. One Vegas spread was 13.5 points. The final Princeton miss under the basket, where the refs ignored a foul in the final couple of seconds, was probably the difference.
On the other hand, Pomeroy predicted a final score of 82-69. The final score? 82-69.

I will, no doubt, be accused of being a Pollyanna but I saw a few positives from this game.
1. I don't think anybody could have realistically expect this would be a W. Even some of our best teams have struggled to beat Princeton, especially on the road. And this is a decent Princeton team.
2. Even though Funk struggled to score, others stepped up and made up for it.
3. They could have totally collapsed in the 2nd half the way they did at St. Francis. But they fought back, even if it was against Princeton's bench.
The bad news is giving up over 80 points again. Not going to win many games if you don't play defense.

Husky, feel free to dress for every game, but you aren't allowed to sit on the bench.

The bug took Screen out of the Princeton game, along with assistant coach Brown, sports info director Jon Terry, the athletic trainer and four managers.
I'm not sure who was backing up at the athletic trainer position, but he was a true one-man band, doing all the manager duties too.
