Two steps forward in losing close ones at Stanford and Cal. Ten steps back in losing at Cal. St. Bakersfield, 61-57, for the team's seventh L in a row. Not Good Bob.
Bakersfield has no center. Its two leading rebounders are guards. Dartmouth's bigs combined for 5 points and 5 rebounds.
16 turnovers for the Green. Rai, attempting mostly layups, was 10-30 on the California swing. After a strong Stanford game, Samuels was 2-16 in the last two.
The worst part? Because all three games were winnable, we did not get a look at Jaren Jackson, Robert McRae, Izaiah Robinson or Dusan Neskovich (the last two actually had a cup of coffee v. Stanford)
This is looking like a 4-10 or 3-11 team in the Ivies, without any reason for optimism in coming years.

Yeah. This team has more talent than some of its predecessors, but lately has been lacking that special something necessary to win games.
Very frustrating to watch someone get 20 in a game, raise our hopes that he's finally "woken up," and then watch him revert to the norm the next game.
