Tonight at 7 PM.

Bison are about a 0.5 point favorite. Screen is listed as being back in the starting lineup btw.

This is maybe the smallest crowd since I became a season ticket holder 16 years ago.

Enjoy Phillie! It’s strange the Bison are a betting favorite but let’s hope Vegas is right.

Very good start, but the wholesale change to the second team was costly. Immediately gave up an 8 point lead. Was a bad offensive unit on the floor to begin with.

I think the hot shooting is masking the same problems. I like the commitment to the inside-outside game and running the offense with the 5 getting plenty of touches.

The defense is nonexistent and history suggests Funk and van der Heidjen won’t shoot this well in the second half.

I once again wish we had a head coach creative enough to play multiple defenses. I understand Davis doesn’t have any experiences with match up zone but…..oh wait……

Agree on all counts. I think Bucknell might be the worst defensive team in the nation.

It’s nice not committing many fouls in the first half but at some point you have to start challenging shots at the rim. Too many easy baskets.

This might be a hard second half to watch. I hope Bucknell can stay close.

Did anyone see that bounce pass Screen made to the cutting Funk? Screen has unlimited potential as he comes into his body.

Is this the same defense they played against Boston? I can’t imagine. Way too many easy baskets.

Same old story. Can’t get any loose balls and 0 interior defense. How many easy layups can we give up?

Pretty sad. A once proud program is completely prostrate. The sycophants will now not post because of the negativity but Fire ND should have multiple threads.

Funk had a decent game. Bucknell tried multiple times to get the lead and tempo but Army just caught up relatively easily. An Army win was almost a foregone conclusion the way this game was played.

They played well on offense. Gave up too many offensive rebounds and too many turnovers. Screen and JVH had great games. Rice was much better in the 2nd half and of course Funk was solid as always, though is still struggling from 3. But there wasn't much help from the rest of the team. There are glimmers of hope, but they can't seem to close out games.

Glimmers of hope. What are you talking about? Hope for what? To win the PSAC East? How much worse does this has to get? Am I the only one who watches these games and realizes this program is adrift?

This team has ZERO chance to win double digit games in what the apologists have said is a weak Patriot League.

At this point the winner of the Patriot League might have a better chance at winning a few games in the D3 March madness. I honestly couldn’t even tell you best to worst this year.

Some teams played multiple D3 teams or some teams played some very tough teams in non-conference play.

Tonight for example Bucknell beat Siena in 2OT and Army got beat by 15 points to them. (Siena isn’t good either this year)

This may have been the worst defensive performance by Bucknell in a game in at least the last 30 years. Army, which is a weak team with a very mediocre offense, scored over 1.35 points per possession. Normally in D1 games they score less than 0.95 points per possession.

It’s hard to believe that any defense at all has been coached.

Nathan Davis is an outstanding coach. Please stop the negativity. You’re spreading the disease known as cognitive dissonance and preventing others from participating in a happy culture of losing.

I thought this was kind of funny that it focuses on offense and not defense.
