Women's game against Columbia at Columbia was cancelled due to Columbia - COVID. Might have been one of the most important Ivy WBB games of the year.

Men are still on tap for Saturday and Sunday with only to Princeton University students, faculty and staff in attendance will mean only a handful of people will be in the stands.

Have to believe they will reschedule the Columbia game. Surprised they haven’t announced a date yet.

Maybe Sunday 3/6???

The Yale and Columbia men have rescheduled their first game for a Tuesday. I suspect they will do something similar for this, as well as with Penn-Columbia.

Incredibly slow start again for the Tiger's women in the 1st qtr but defense once again controls the game. They only allowed 5 pts over the first 10 minutes which gave their offense some time to get into a rhythm.

34-16 at halftime with Myers having 18 pts. Tigers have held Cornell to 23% shooting from the floor.

Cornell announcers are somewhat taken back as to how well Tigers play defense but the Tigers need to improve on the offensive end.

Very sloppy offensive performance with many turnovers and poor shooting by all other starters other than Myers who had 28 pts - career high.

Good news is that the bench got a lot of playing time including 6'5" Parker Hill. Nwecke can play.

Defense was tenacious including getting loose balls.

Ok performance but still a 24 pt win on the road.

Derek Jones claimed that some of the women's team were spectating at the men's game against Columbia last night at Jadwin. If true, that means they took the 5-hour bus ride to Ithaca today and played right after getting off the bus. That may explain why they were not clicking on offense.

Warren Nolan has women now at #27 rpi partially due to have a non-conference strength of schedule as #13 in the country. Unfortunately, Tigers NET and RPI ranking will drop even if they consistently win in the IL.

They really need to beat a top #40 team next Wednesday night and try to run the table in the IL. Both will be very difficult especially if they do not improve on the offensive end quickly.
