Feeling uncomfortable. Will there really be basketball games for the Crimson men this weekend? One game or two? Who will be on the court? Who won’t? How will we play? Brown has played multiple games since we last did, and seems to be much healthier.

This isn’t how it’s supposed to be!

To add to the confusion, the game between Yale and Dartmouth on Friday is postponed. But Dartmouth’s Saturday game and Yale’s Sunday game at Harvard are both currently scheduled?!?

No spectators are allowed, so I don’t need to be making or canceling plans.

Game now set for ESPNU as well, which leads me to believe that this one will get played. It's above my pay grade to say whether they'll get Sunday's game in - I suppose you could read tomorrow's game being on ESPNU as a replacement for Sunday's game, which was set for TV as well, but I think that would just be grasping at straws.

We’ve been upgraded!
Wonder who will be dressed and playing?
With Choh and Gainey I think we need Ledlum and Forbes.

No idea about ultimate status of Sunday's game but the ESPNU move is to replace the Princeton-Columbia women's game that was scheduled for tomorrow's slot, nothing to do with replacing Sunday.

(I think Princeton-Columbia men weren't available for ESPNU because they're already on one of the RSNs locally.)

Thanks for the clarification! I hope the Princeton - Columbia women's match-up gets a new TV slot, because that should be a good one.

And who will take the floor for the Crimson? Is Drew Faust still available?

Inserting Drew Faust for Forbes & Ajogbor is no Faustian bargain.

Harvard -3
With injuries and COVID, how do we know who is playing?

Forbes tweeted that he and Klay Thompson will be returning this weekend.

Wish we could use Klay Thompson as well. But I believe Golden State has him under contract.

Maybe under the new NCAA transfer, extended COVID and NIL rules Harvard might be able to take advantage of the B-School’s executive management program. Some pretty big NBA names have come through there. Just need to coordinate the timing.

Brown’s 3 point shooting won this game. Brown attempted one less long range shot but outscored Harvard by 21 from behind the line.

Forbes was rusty and played limited minutes. No surprise there.

Ball spent way too much time in Tretout’s and Ledlum’s hands. Hard to drive with Gainey waiting.

Sakota scoreless.

Nice effort by Catchings but foul trouble again.

Not much you can do when the other team shoots 57% from three. Some of there were open; a lot of them weren't. Lilly, in particular, made a bunch of contested stepbacks.

Didn't help that we missed a lot of makeable shots in the paint. Offense was pretty stagnant for most of the second half, even when we were putting points up.

We looked like a team coming off illness. Slow, rusty, lots of sunken eyes--not sure who had it obviously. Glad we faked Covid against Princeton.

And yeah, Brown shot the lights out.

In their 3 Ivy games, Brown shot the following on 3's:

2-10 vs Penn
15-26 vs Harvard
4-26 vs Dartmouth

That's 31.4% in conference play
Brown is shooting 33.9% on the season.

So, what did Harvard do wrong?
Or, was it just one of those nights where Brown couldn't miss?
This can't be reversion to the mean as every game was an outlier.

Need more analytics, but we've had four games this season where teams have shot 50% or better from 3, and one more where they shot 46%.

Overall our 3D% isn't terrible, but those five games out of 13 stand out.
