Ball was in the air before the light went on. A comeback for the ages without their point guard and high scorer.

YES IT COUNTS!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!

I SUCK! REVERSE JINX WORKS! GO TIGERS!!

What poetic justice to have Jaelin's replacement nail the buzzer beater!

I was scared because the on-screen graphic clock was at zero... but the actual play clock still had <0.5s on it.

New coaching strategy: Hypnotize the Tigers before the game starts into thinking they're down double digits.

Wow. That might be the best regular season comeback since THAT game in 1999.

When was our last true buzzer-beater (loss to win as time expires)? Doug Davis in 2011?

1. Holy cr-p

2. Love Allocco. As noted, best shot since Douglas D. Davis.

3. Tosan must hit those free throws.

What a turnaround - Allocco obviously the hero and played great on both ends. Thought Friberg was huge tonight too. Not a pretty weekend by any means but 2-0 is 2-0!

Worth noting that Zach Martini was also in street clothes tonight. Had fallen out of the rotation in favor of Barnes anyways, but shortens the depth just a little bit more

Columbia leading Penn by 5 at The Palestra with 40 seconds to play. Going to be a tight league all around it looks like

Columbia is trying its best to blow a big lead late. Lions have missed front end of 3 straight 1 and 1s.

In the "correlation may not imply causality, but it would be cool" area, in both home games the Tigers seemed to pick up their play when the women athletes from track or BB came in to cheer.

If Jaelin can come back next week... watch out!

Allocco might be starting PG next season, so this could be a formative experience for him. When he's aggressive, which he was at the very start and the very end, he shines.

MH likes those big, versatile point guards. Allocco should watch as much TJ Bray footage as he can.

The one game I saw in person, I was very impressed by Allocco.

What did Savage say was his nickname from the other players? I missed it.

I heard 'Mush', but might be wrong on that.

I saw an article about that - they call him "Mush" because I guess he likes to talk a lot of trash ("mushmouth").

Columbia just knocked off Penn in the Palestra. Not a bad, if stressful (and exciting) first Ivy weekend.

As if it wasn't a good enough ending, it's also Matt Allocco's birthday today!

If there as many "upsets" this season as I expect, pulling one out of the hat like this could prove very meaningful later.
