Bison89 and family are leaving in 2 hours for the game. We already have tickets. Any recommendations for parking?

They have a pay lot along Cold Spring Avenue that is the most convenient option. If you can’t get in there, there are small lots on the campus behind the arena. Given crowd restrictions, hopefully you won’t have problems finding spots.

Thanks. Found free parking on Cold Spring after 6pm. BTW, this is a very sloppy team.

You’ve got some room to spread out but at least you won’t have a wait at the gents. The team is playing about as well as they can, to their abilities and as coached. It’s a credit to them they don’t appear to ever quit. They play hard. For some reason they believe the ball should be in Funk’s hands when a critical shot is needed. A 3-13 team might want to reconsider that. I’m not sure though who else would shoot it though. Rice? Edmonds?
It looks like there are as many Bison fans there as Greyhound fans too. I noticed some Loyola players have cloth masks around their necks while on the court. Are they for players who didn’t vaccinate? I’m confused why they’d have them around their necks and not on the bench.

Nice play design at the end of the game to get JVH a wide open back door layup but Screen threw it at his feet and that was it. The long season continues

Agreed. That was poor execution but a creative play call that didn’t involve Funk whom everyone thought would get the rock.

Unfortunately screen is a poor passer, who has a ton of turnovers this year on errant passes. Would’ve been a nice play had it worked.
About the only good news is the Bucknell has yet to play any of the league’s terrible teams. Right now it looks like there are three good teams, two mediocre teams (Army and Loyola), and five terrible ones (LU, LC, HC, AU, and Bucknell). Bucknell gets a run in early February where they play five games in a row against terrible teams - three of them at home. If they want to challenge for 6th or 7th place, those will be key games.
By the way, American has had three starters
and a couple of key subs out in recent games. A lot of them due to Covid. Bucknell plays them in six days, and I imagine most of them will be back. Those who have not played include All-PL Stacy Becton.

Too bad the ending was a bit anticlimactic. At least they covered on the road and had a real opportunity to win.

I watched the game last night and was thinking to myself why doesn't Davis use a 4 guard look?? When he puts in the 2 bigs at the same time the flow is not good and the foot speed is slow. I believe they could spread the floor more and be able to drive to the rim better with cutters on both wings and say Timmerman at the foul line.

This was a Gen Z pass. Sometimes this pass is missed because of close game pressure, or not mastering the play in practice, or just a lapse in mental focus. This was none of these.
It is what it is and all one can do is move on. But these close game losses and Gen Z passes could start taking a toll on the players.

My family and I were 4 of about 60 people who attended this game. BTW, it was nice to talk with BRW there. Even though we have known each other since the mid-1980s, we probably run into each other at games only about every 5-6 years.
Some observations about the Bison from the 19 year old son who loves hoops:
1. Why don't they set picks?
2. Has their coach ever heard of the pick-and-roll?
3. Their big-man is a space eater. He clogs up the middle, and nobody can cut through.
4. Can you tell me why they are running a weave against a 1-3-1 zone?
5. Why is their Center handling the ball in the weave?
I had no answers for him . . .
