The refs actually called fouls on Princeton defenders for this game, especially down low. Savage was in shock.
That mattered as well.

I got no qualms with the officiating. The whistles were quick but they were called evenly both ways. That's all you want as a fan.
I have an informal rule. You get to complain about refs ONCE per non-conf play and ONCE per conference play. That's it. Any more than that and you lose credibility.

Good rule of thumb although it would never sell for teams just South and North of Central Jersey.
Blaming refs gets one nowhere fast and there is a solution -- have a big enough lead so that you do not need to blame refs for losing.
