At 6 PM tomorrow on CBS Sports. I'll bet they are having some second thoughts about having selected this game for national coverage. I wonder if it will affect the ratings for the Rams-49ers NFC title game, which starts at about the same time.

Loyola is favored by about 4 points. Bison are currently #344 in the nation (Pomeroy).

Fitting, as the first clash between these two teams was the same night as the BCS football championship game.

Have to be honest, the poor team coupled with NFL championship games is reason enough for us to skip this game. I can’t imagine many fans will be in attendance. Too bad this is the time slot. If the game was at noon or 1:00 we’d be there.

I'm hoping things come together for the team and they play a good game. Apparently they had another good set of practices so maybe this time it will translate into a win. They certainly are capable of it.

Got a 5–4 Ref who looks like he is reffing his first game above the middle school level. He hasto blow his whistle every few seconds to prove his manhood.

Yes congrats on the win. Looked ugly by both teams at times (cannot believe Loyola was this close to being in a three-way tie for 1st) but better to win those games than lose. Not a huge Funk fan but he was huge tonight.

Great win its just what they needed. Refs were trying to make Bucknell the losers WWF style but Loyola couldn't make their shot. A great start to perhaps a mini-comeback.

If anyone had been told before last night's game that all of the following good things would happen, they would have expected a 20-point Bison win:
- Bison hit 62% of two-point attempts
- Bison hit 43% of three point attempts
- Bison hit 92% from the line
- Bison got to the FT line 25 times
- Bison outrebounded Loyola 33-18
- Cam Spencer, the PL's leading scorer, was held to a season-low 11 points
But it ended up as a close win in OT because BU turned the ball over 20 times, compared to 8 by Loyola. Bucknell is now 357th in the nation in forcing turnovers. And at the other end, they are in the bottom five in the nation in having the ball stolen by their opponents. Bison, in fact, are bad in every defensive category. In this game, they let Loyola hit 61% of their twos, balancing out their own good shooting.

Points off turnovers were 27-0. As I recall, Loyola had zero TO in the 2nd half. This may be the single biggest thing holding this team back.

I wonder if any high school basketball games in Pennsylvania had less fans than Bucknell on Sunday. I'm not great at Math, but I counted 0 Students in the Student Section. I understand we aren't exactly putting out an entertaining product on a nightly basis; however, not a single student decided it would be worth their boring, early semester, Sunday evening to watch some Division I basketball....? Is ND paying students NOT to come? Im speechless.

Can Funk make All-PL first team while playing on a last Place team? I think he keeps cranking numbers he can even if the Bison play to 5-17 form.
