Big swing for Yale with the complete rejection followed immediately by the backdoor, though Harvard then does make a 3.

Oui oui.

Kirkwood playing his heart out.
Lesmond hitting 3’s and Yale the boards.
Crunch time.

He is the man. Puts on a dribbling clinic and then gets the tough shot to go in. Compete dive on the ensuing Harvard 3.

Kirkwood is equally solid. Seniors make such a difference. Cuts it to 2, 13 seconds.

Complete dive, that is. Harvard shot gets ruled a 2.

Swain giveth and Swain taketh away. Could have been called for an offensive foul, then goes OB.

Saw the last 3:35. Pretty impressed with Harvsrd's conditioning and effort down the stretch. All that scrambling and pressing at the end of a game with a short bench takes energy. That last-second fling at the basket nearly went in, too.

I think that was our best defensive game of the season.

Offensively, we really miss Ledlum. We don't really have anyone who can get to the basket (Tretout can do that too, btw, but he's casted up). If we can grind a win or two this week, we've got a shot to be #4. 5 games at home out of the last 7 if I'm counting right.
