This may be my first ever post to the Harvard board.

I was just wondering what happened to Bennett Pitcher? It sounds like he is injured. Hopefully (for him and Harvard) not seriously.

I only ask because I expected him to be one of the most impactful Ivy Freshman. His size and skill seemed pretty unique for the Ivies. I haven't followed other teams' players much.

Yep, he's injured. At this point, it'd be shocking if it didn't turn out to be for the year.

They're having to make do with Catchings.

I'll see my way out now..

I think that for almost all of the season we've been without our largest 4 guys: Forbes, Ajogbor, Pitcher and Hemmings. Pitcher hasn't played at all. Hemmings played a few minutes in a few games and has disappeared. Ajogbor has maybe played 15 minutes, all recently. Forbes is finally contributing. Of course, now we've lost Ledlum now. Overall, we've generally been without 4 of our 5 bigs at any time. No idea why or when they'll be back.

We don't mean to be hostile to anyone here, just our medical staff.

Well, I wish him the best. It must suck to lose your Freshman season. Still, he has plenty of eligibility and the grad school transfer route leaves plenty of basketball options down the road.

I remember thinking he could be the most valuable of Penn's targets. A guy of that build who knows how to use his body on the boards is pretty scarce. Add in a shooting touch, and he's a unicorn. He seemed like a guaranteed extra few possessions for a team, and one who could neutralize some of the better big men out-of-conference with physicality.

Good luck to him, but not too much for Penn's sake.
