2022-23 Ivy League Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll
Predicted Order of Finish
1. Princeton (15) - 126
2. Columbia (1) - 108
3. Yale - 85
4. Harvard - 81
5. Penn - 77
6. Cornell - 41
7. Dartmouth - 32
8. Brown - 26
- Following Princeton's historic 2021-22 campaign which saw them go undefeated in conference play en route to a Round of 32 appearance, the Tigers garnered 126 points with 15 first-place votes. The points are the most that a school has received since 2018 while the first-place votes are the most since 2016 (Penn).
Columbia was the only other program picked to receive a first-place vote as the Lions received 108 points after winning a program-record 25 wins last season. Fellow 2021-22 Ivy Madness foes Harvard and Yale were picked to once again find themselves fighting for a bid to the NCAA Tournament when March comes around. -
Columbia is going to be a rock-solid team and a threat for an at-large bid. But it would take a massive case of food poisoning at Cannon Club for Princeton not to win the 14-game tournament.
(What happens in the Ivy tournament is a crapshoot because anything can happen in one game, even if the Tigers have home court.)
