I'll take an 80-77 road win while shooting 25% from deep, 55% from the line, Boothby was o-fer from behind the arc and Williams fouled out in 11 minutes with no points. But watching them hit just 4 of their last 10 FTs was tough.

Hansen was a stud: 26 pts, 5 assists, and no turnovers. Dolan had 19, Gray was on fire in the first half, and Max Watson hit some key shots down the stretch.

Earl is still looking for the depth he had last year as only 8 guys played in the second half. You can tell he wants wants to get more minutes from Filien and/Cain, but they aren't ready.

I like Watson’s game and think he will be a solid contributor as the season progresses. He takes good shots and plays under control. It is early, but an 8 man rotation is just about right for me. Last year, the subbing was too much and I don’t think guys could get into a rhythm before being taken out. At times, it looked like a hockey game.
