My first live game in quite some time and they competed quite well. But for three empty possessions sandwiched by four threes in four trips for UGA, we might have had this one.

Hard to believe we competed better against an SEC team than we did at St Peters. Again, we controlled virtually the whole first half and then watched the Dawgs take a 14 point lead. Unlike St Peters however, we fought back. UGAs 1-3-1 defense completely flummoxed us. I harken back to ‘89’s comment about Screen in the St Pete thread. I don’t think he impressed in this game either. Too many missed shots, too many turnovers. It is kind of strange watching Bucknell have the size advantage, even against power 5 schools, but yet Andre is not fully asserting himself underneath. He needs to get better. At this point, imo, Timmerman is clearly more effective. With Screen in foul trouble Bijiak got a lot of time tonight. Clearly he is a work in progress. Hopefully he can develope into another effective big.

Living near Savannah, I got this one on local channel and Bison competed very well. Ahead most of first half, they had a great chance to win at the end of game, missing 2 layups and 2 relatively open 3's only down by 4. They came back from 12 down to get close, playing very gritty style. First game I have seen this year and surprised by talent on this team. Little inside offense 2nd half but guards did well. Some controversial calls in last five minutes and Davis hardly blinked. Always surprised to see how low key he is.

It is always fun to see the Bison play a power conference school. Yes, it was a moral victory, but it could have been an actual victory if the coach had told his players how to handle a 1-3-1 Zone D. I saw very little change in the Bucknell offense when UGA changed their D.

Good to see the team compete to the end. They have some talent. Just need to find a way to avoid the long scoring lapses.

You are spot on. Georgia is not the most talented team in the US but they adjusted both offense and defense the 2nd half. Bison were predictable making few, if any, changes.
