We beat U. Texas-San Antonio in OT last night.

For a program that hasn't had a lot of success, we will certainly enjoy wins over Conference USA teams.

Meanwhile, our women lost by 13 to Holy Cross...

This is the second time this season, Bryant being the first, that a WBB opponent has made positive adjustments at halftime and easily won what was a close first half game.

To my eye something seems badly amiss with this incarnation of Dartmouth WBB. And looking ahead if the Green cannot get a win against either Siena or Monmouth in the next week it seems entirely possible they could win fewer games this year than last. FWIW, Dartmouth women are currently the 352 (!) team in the country based on RPI out of 361 D1 schools.

No question that Dartmouth WBB has some serious, serious problems.

We get that Shibles was essentially starting from scratch when she took over last season. And we get that it takes time for her to make her mark on the program (Princeton FB coach Surace went 2-18 his first two seasons). But sheesh, it sure is painful getting there.

I think we don't need to look very far to see an analog for the Dartmouth women. Brown WBB hired a new coach at the same time as Shibles and their cupboard was just as, if not more, bare.

Brown currently sits at 4-2 and while not a great, of even good, team, they play hard and have 3 of their 4 wins with second half comebacks.
