Tonight’s game notes: Bucknell favored by 6 against a mediocre SF team.

Could tell where Bucknell stands in the PL given both American and Lehigh beat them at Loretto.

Bison caught fire in the 2nd half. If they could only play like this all the time.
New season, new team, new dream . . .

Nice win for the Bison. Timmerman is playing much better than I ever expected.

We won by 24, compared to 6 for Lehigh and 11 for American.

For more transitive theory fun, we lost to Marist by 6, while American lost by 4 on the road and Lehigh won by 10 at home. BU (Boston University) visits Marist on Dec 10.

Ahh yes, but we played at home. But really, Bucknell played a much better second half. Seems good play always involves hitting shots. And Timmerman has been awesome these last few games, really, all year. He’s come so far from what we saw as a freshman.

It’s not a big deal, but I do not recall a Bucknell player laud themselves during an interview like Josh Bascoe did while talking with Doug after the SF game. He said he’s the quickest player on the team and doing a really good job driving and basically running the offense. He didn’t say anything crazy it’s just I do not recall that happening…I’m sure it has at some point.

Easy to take credit when you have a good game as a team and as an individual. Not so easy to take responsibility when the team doesn't do well. Read between the lines; is he saying "I should be starting?" This is an issue for the coach to address with the player.

16 minutes with 4 pts, 5 assists and 2 steals isn't shabby at all and does show good team play.
