Considering the remainder of the schedule, Bears may well need this game worse than Big Red. Brown shot 78% from the line in Northern New England. That helped them mightily in two close games.
Cornell's Nazir Williams back today with left lower leg heavily taped. Moving pretty well, but may not be 100%.
Bears hit four threes to start the game. Now up 12-4.

42-24 Bears at the half. They are playing great.
Cornell shooting blanks from three and Brown hitting about 50%. Cornell with ten TO's. This has been one of the Big Red's worst halves of the year, but Brown's defense and board work had something to do with that.
Let's see if Cornell can make a game of it in the second half.

Cornell really slumping. Even with Nazir Williams out/injured, I'm surprised Cornell's deep rotation didn't pick up the slack more.

Williams was back and got 24 minutes, one minute short of being tops on the team. Brown was just ready and schooled the Big Red in all facets. Tip of the hat to Brown for that.
But lately, Cornell has not been able to outscore it's defensive mistakes. When teams are shooting over 55% from inside the arc, you need a lot of 3s or a lot of turnovers to win.
