If understand the tiebreaker scenarios correctly (I don’t), I think the only scenario where they make the tournament is if they sweep and Cornell loses one, or if Cornell drops both games and Brown wins one. But if the latter happens but Harvard wins out (and they could), I’m not sure what that the tiebreakers would say then. I think it depends on whether or not Brown’s win would be against Yale, and if so (I think) Brown makes it.
My little brain can’t be bothered by the Dartmouth math because I think they have the toughest remaining schedule and because I think you’d need BOTH Cornell and Brown to drop their last two games.
Best thing you can say about it for Brown is that they almost control their own destiny. But if Cornell wins out it’s theirs.
I’m sure there’s a mathematical probability here but it kind of feels like a 1-in-3 shot at best, maybe 1-in-4.

Both Brown and Cornell play Yale, which is playing for a title. At least you get them at home...and the last week. So if Brown goes to Columbia and wins and Yale beats Cornell, you will have your fate in your own hands.
And very possibly Penn's as well.

I like your take on it. And I see Yale holds the tiebreaker with Princeton so if Princeton drops to Harvard on the road and Yale beats Cornell, they would lock up first place before their game at Brown. Which yes could help Brown.
From what I see Penn couldn’t finish outside of the top four at this point? But you’d know better than I.

Yale, Princeton, and Penn have all locked spots and are only playing for seeding and the chance to claim a regular season title.

Penn's fate in terms of the No. 1 seed (and official Ivy League Championship). Penn has clinched a playoff spot with yesterday's win.
Man, Martin was hot at his team right before the half.

If Penn beats Dartmouth, then no matter what Yale does against Cornell Penn would still have a shot at first place if it beats Princeton and Yale loses at Brown.

So PN, I guess you’re rooting for us to beat Yale. At the moment, I’m just worried about beating Columbia.

Brown will beat the crap out of Columbia. Columbia won its game against Dartmouth and Brown will be angry after Saturday night. Columbia has some very good young talent, but they are very undisciplined.
