We are not winning basketball games certainly because the other team is playing better than us, but also because the team is not intrinsically able to succeed. I believe the team is trying, and I for one am inspired by the players trying to get better and succeed despite their losses. I think the players are, in true Bucknellian fashion, trying their hardest to win and improve, but Bucknell is not offering them the tools they need, something Bucknell did years prior. And the tools they used to offer can not be quantized, they were something inherently offered in the Bucknell experience. But that is gone. The students have not changed, but Bucknell's previous strengths are now limitations, and this is reflecting off on the team. Bucknell's signature trait, resilience, is quickly eroding and without it Bucknell falls like a house of cards and I don't want that to happen. Where is the much needed attention to the basketball team's woes? This would have never have been tolerated in years past, and the matter would have been dealt with. I can understand football's underachieving role in the University scheme, but with basketball underachieving and languishing It points to a larger Bucknell issue, bigger than the coach and AD. And I'm sure Bravman is scratching his head too.

    In response to Paulie777

I for one hope that Bravman is doing a helluva lot more than “scratching his head,” since he only recently signed a new contract and won’t be going anywhere else soon.
