According to Fansided :

Pat Flannery #1 Coach in Patriot league history:

1. Patriot League Basketball coach rankings – Pat Flannery (Bucknell 2000-2008)

For a program once coached by Jim Valvano, it’s impressive to say that Flannery has made the greatest impact for the Bison in their long history. We’ve already mentioned some of the accomplishments that his successors Paulsen and Davis have accomplished, but it’s really Flannery who turned Bucknell into the yearly Patriot League power.
Flannery took over Bucknell in 1994 but things really got going around the turn of the century. His Bison finished in the top three in the conference in all but three of his 14 seasons in charge, though of course that’s not the highlight. His 2005 and 2006 teams both not only made the NCAA Tournament, but won first round games. The 2005 upset of 3-seeded Kansas is the clear highlight of the group. Bucknell was dominating the Patriot League, securing a 9-seed and knocking out Arkansas in 2006.
Flannery retired in 2008, but certainly left behind an impressive legacy with the Bison. This program became a perennial contender atop the conference, though no team since has matched what he accomplished in those two NCAA Tournament trips. It’s rare to see a team from the Patriot League winning a Tournament game but Flannery accomplished it on back-to-back trips. He truly deserves this spot as the greatest coach in the conference since 2000.

& 4. Patriot League Basketball coach rankings – Dave Paulsen (Bucknell 2008-2015)

As we begin to look at Paulsen’s time at Bucknell, there are some intriguing similarities to Nathan Davis in here. Like Davis, Paulsen arrived at Bucknell following success at the D3 level, leading Williams to the D3 national championship in 2003. The team that Paulsen inherited, however, was in slightly worse than shape, but that only made his time with the Bison that more impressive.

After a struggle to rebuild at first, Bucknell was firing on all cylinders. The Bison were in the NCAA Tournament in 2011 and 2013, and were relegated to the NIT in 2012 and 2015 after suffering upsets in the Patriot League Tournament. They finished in the top half of the league in each of his six final seasons, securing a 134-94 mark overall during that successful stint.

Bucknell is probably the most successful program in the Ivy League at the moment, and the efforts of Paulsen are certainly a major reason. He quickly rebuilt Bucknell into a conference powerhouse, with those four regular season titles left as clear evidence. Any coach who can win 28 games in the Patriot League is a fantastic coach, though sadly Paulsen hasn’t been able to find similar success since joining George Mason.

Hard to take this seriously when:

1. Brett Reed is ranked as the 2nd best PL coach of all time, ahead of Ralph Willard, Paulsen, DeChellis, and Matt Langel. While Reed is a good recruiter, he is a very subpar coach.

2. Nathan DAvis is ranked #6, ahead of Langel. LOL!!!

3. No ranking at all for Ed DeChellis, who is a much better coach than ND, Joe Jones, and Zach Spiker. And Fran O'Hanlon for that matter.
