What a championship game on the women’s side. With 2:38 remaining in the 3rd period, HC was blowing out Boston by 22 (58-36), in Boston nonetheless. HC did not score again until the 5:40 mark of the 4th, by which time Boston had gone on a 16-0 run, to pull within 6 before HC scored their 60th point. With 2:13 to go Boston had closed to within 1at 62-61 after a 25-4 run.
Boston had the ball, down 3 with under 15 seconds left, but air balled a 3 attempt leaving just over 5 seconds . HC hit 2 free throws to win 66-61.

So apparently the NCAA will only pay for chartered flights if a team has to travel 400+ miles. Holy Cross has to travel 393 miles, and they can't get commercial flights because of the weather. That leaves bus or train.

Ironically if Boston U had won the PL tourney instead of HC, they would have been able to fly assuming the same matchup).
