Not a surprise, I think there may be some chance that he will change his mind if a new coach is on board soon who Andre likes. I know he had been indirectly contacted by a number of schools during the season.

Yeah, many of us expected this (and maybe Elvin?) if Davis returned. Idk, maybe Screen was happy with Davis and staff but it didn’t appear they advanced his skills very much. Hopefully the new coach is announced soon.

He's a year away from that diploma that is a pretty valuable piece of paper. It's true, I have nothing better to do than speculate on this message board, but its something he may want to think about.

It makes ZERO sense to me considering he could play a 5th at another school while leaving with a Bucknell degree.

Good for Andre. I hope he is happy, content, and has more fun learning and playing basketball than he could at Bucknell. Too bad he didn’t have time to give Griffin a chance but our loss is Butler’s gain. I’m not sure how his game transfers to a step up in competition.

I feel Davis (and Bucknell) let down Screen a little by not developing him and leaving him at nearly square one for basketball development, discipline, and polish. I could be wrong. I also hope he is happy and hope he doesn't get. eaten alive there and gets in a healthy amount of game time. Maybe his time at Butler will be rewarding basketball wise and academic wise, I certainly hope so. I apologise Andre you didn't get your due diligence at Buckell.

From all I've seen and know of Andre Screen, he's a big and polite young man who's had the benefit of a wonderful Mother and Father.
When his Mother unexpectedly passed last year, it must have caused indescribable pain for this quiet and well mannered kid to endure, given the big change living away from home and going to college.
Now his Father will be unable to jump in the car and drive a few hours away from their home in Virginia. It's gotta be about 9 - 10 hours between home and Butler U. in Indy? During the two years at Bucknell, the parents or parent never seemed to miss a game!
Wishing Andre the best and likewise, his Father and family. Was he under coached or poorly coached? We may never know, but one would think with his superior talents and size, more should have been expected?
