As noted by HC13 on the recruiting thread, Hope Masonius has committed to the Bison. She is a 5-9 SG from Manasquan, a traditional power on the Jersey Shore. Her sister was a starter for Maryland this past season.
Hope is the 5th Shore player the Bison have landed in the last 18 months. She had offers from UMass, St. Joes, Towson, Buffalo, Fordham, DePaul, Lafayette etc.
Her mom, Ellen Clark Masonius is the Founder/Director/Coach of New Jersey RISE AAU organization.

She is the second 2024 commitment, along with Reese Zemitis

1. Article on Masonius from last FebruaryL
https://nothingbutskills.com/hope-masonious-aka-th ...
It points out that she missed almost nine months of basketball with a back injury that she has now recovered from.
2. Second Team All-Shore (in 50-team conference): https://www.nj.com/highschoolsports/2023 /03/girls-...

Wow. I have a friend who is close to the family - 10 kids!
This is a great get by Bucknell. If she stays healthy, she has the potential to be an outstanding player in the PL.
