I mean, Tris Wykes isn't wrong about the state of things. There are a lot of messes across the athletic department, unforced errors and unforeseeable tragedies alike.
I do take some comfort in the fact that the fan who initially pushed Cimino's name into contention was Courtney Banghart, who ought to know something about fit with the program (though she did of course also have glowing words initially for Shibles). I don't think we can pass judgment for a few years.
In the meantime, has there been any word about who the men's team's incoming class includes, and what to expect from them? Dare we dream that they'll at least keep knocking on the door of the post-season tournament...?

Niko Abusara 6'5 wing from Illinois chose Dartmouth over Brown and Marshall
Patrick Tivnan 6'8 215 lb power forward from North Carolina with offers from Army, Navy, Appalachian St.

I think that knocking Cimino's career winning percentage was unfair. Clearly, she took over rebuilding projects at Albany and St. Francis. While some coaches turn things around immediately, more often than not it takes a few seasons (as it did for Cimino). I'm not expecting Cimino's .400 winning percentage to improve for a while...
The recruiting violations thing is fair game though. 
While I fully acknowledge that Tris' substantive reporting is accurate, I do wonder how much of it resulted from the new AD not responding to Valley News' inquiries and Tris getting frustrated as a result. I suspect that improving relations with the press wouldn't be a bad idea for new AD Harrity....

We're going to need him. While checking Verbal Commits to look at some of the offers we've given to the rising HS seniors, I noticed that Cam Krystkowiak has transferred to Iona.
