Thank you for taking the time to set this up. I’m in full agreement that this is an opportune time for a new beginning. I like the clean look and having separate folders for WBB, football and other sports.

Thank you, DoCtoR62. I agree that leaving behind the cluttered look here would be a big plus. The contrast is especially sharp when you open each board side by side.

"I dig the update and revamp. This should also increase the number of folks active on the forums.
Registration for the BasketballU site just doesn't work, so a more active website with better registration should boost interaction."

In my intro post, I'd said registrations were closed initially, as I wanted to make sure people could keep their same names.
Given the size of our membership, and the likelihood that people will want to keep the same name, I'm guessing we probably don't need any special verification procedures.
However, I can reserve specific names at individual's request here, and then release them after you direct message me here to let me know you're ready to claim it.
There's also a way that, when you register at BISON SPORTS, you can include a message to me with your request. We could conceivably have a system where you send me a "code word" here at the old board in a direct message, and then you send me the same "code word" on the form where you submit your request at BISON SPORTS.
So, for now, let me know via this BasketballU board if and only if you want your name put on hold and then released with one of those two special procedures. You could say it in this thread or direct-message me.
I'll give at least a day for people to do that, then open registration...with an announcement.
Again, I'm guessing there won't be name-claiming trouble (reading old Holy Cross transition posts doesn't seem to indicate they had any problems.) However, I want to do everything necessary to make sure people can keep the same name.

No problem! Here's general instructions for you and anyone else. First, go to my profile page.

Then, just above the stacked gray boxes, you'll see a box filled with links. Click the one that says Start Private Topic.
Maybe better yet, I just initiated a "private topic" with you, Bison63. To access it, click the "My Fusion" tab that's toward the top of the screen right under the words MESSAGE BOARDS ("My Fusion" is the left-most tab there).
Then click "View Private Topics"
