I'm not surprised by any news anymore. Hopefully, day to day means that Okpara and Hemmings will be back soon.
By the way, I received an email from TeamRankings this morning as follows:
"We currently rank Harvard as the #222 team in the country, and the #6 team in the Ivy.
First game: Mon, Nov 6 vs. Massachusetts-Boston. Our power ratings give the Crimson a 100% chance to win."
Nothing is 100% these days, but I do note that the Harvard game isn't even on UMASS Boston's schedule, and that two of the Beacons next three games are against colleges that were not co-ed in my day (Salve Regina and Colby-Sawyer).
The only thing for certain at Lavietes seems to be injuries.
Anyway, here's to a hopeful season!
