Duquesne is being pretty aggressive on D, plenty of ball pressure. 7-4 start for the Tigers is good. Dukes are forcing up shots.

15-15 as Duquesne made a couple of tough shots. Tigers keeping their composure under defensive pressure, but treys will be hard to find.

Lee with the great drive off quick passes after Peters penetrated and kicked. 24-17 with 7:56 left and a FT coming. Fouls mounting for the Dukes.

Princeton 25-17 after going on a 10-2 run, with Duquesne finally starting to miss some of their very tough shots. I like the movement on both ends of the court so far.

Down 25-26 after a couple of turnovers and conceded ORs. Bench minutes up, but not quite as effective as the starters.

31-26 now as PU’s 1-3-1 and scrambling man defenses have Duquesne out of rhythm, while Lee and Allocco are driving well.

Up 37-31 after a buzzer-beating trey from Duquesne. Allocco and Martini each have two fouls, which isn’t great, but if they don’t get worn down the Tigers ought to be able to win the second half.

52-49 with 11+ to go. Huggins scores the first bench points of the game off a nice feed from Lee. This is going to be a test for the Tigers to play a really good team on its home court and keep its foot on the pedal for the last 10 minutes of the game. They are fun to watch!

58-49 now. Love PU’s relentless defense and rebounding execution and effort on every possession. Dukes committing a lot of offensive fouls in frustration.

A rash of iffy calls against PU put the Dukes in the double bonus, now 63-60 lead.

I think we are tired. This is an athletic Dukes team. Highlights our lack of depth from the bench.
