The Bulldogs, fresh off the exam break, head to Phog Allen Fieldhouse for a shot at #2 Kansas. Will be nice to see how they handle a challenge like this.

Very early returns look good. Starting to see the beautiful ball movement we saw to start the year and the defense has been much more solid. Looking forward to seeing how they handle the inevitable Kansas runs.

Yeah, some rough play from the end of the bench. Good to see Poulakidas and Mahoney hit some early.

lastly I am bummed on adjustment on wolf. In his head a bit. And brilliant but wolf was abusing Dickinson on o. Lesson game goes through Danny. No one else we play can make that change effectively so live and learn go forward!

Kansas is taking advantage of their length and athleticism to deny everything. That's hard to handle for anyone, and Yale just isn't getting shots.

The final score doesn't really do justice to how well Yale played. They wore down from Kansas' constant physical play at the end, but that was 30 minutes of very very good play. If that's the new standard, that'll be enough to be up with Princeton at the top of the Ivy.

yes
And no one has a 1st team has lacrosse all American at power forwa4d to switch onto wolf and then double him w Dickinson in post
Ultimate flattery by self and brilliant move.
Danny needs to learn to go hard bc he beat the kid a couple times
I saw some real signs here and besides some misses they looked xonnected
But give self credit he did that early and we still went up for 30 mins

I was impressed by Yale. Beimg ahead of the #2 ranked team with under 10 minutes to go, with their famously difficult home court advantage, is no small thing.

I agree with Sparman.Records don't mean much on 1/6. Yale has demonstrated why it was an overwhelming choice to win the Ivy title. That said playing tourney at Columbia is surely a wild card. Can't wait to get started.
Struck by the fact that 3 Ivy teams beat our sweet 16 team, and one of those did it twice.
Should be a helluva a shootout!!!

Underrated aspect here: Hunter Dickinson, one of the best big men in the NCAA, had to be hidden on defense because he couldn't guard Danny Wolf. That's just an incredible thing to say about a sophomore Ivy League big man.

Yale looked formidable in an IL context. Kansas has tremendous defenders at at least three spots at all times. If the Jayhawks hadn’t gotten so hot from three in the last part of the second half this game would have been single digits all the way, though.
