From Penn BB release:
Clark "will not play Tuesday night at Auburn and is out for the foreseeable future".
No bueno.

Wow. You can't fill that gap. Our young and inexperienced guards will definitely have to grow up fast. I think Brown can handle the basics bringing the ball up the court and such, but it's unknown how much pressure he can handle. Not sure if Thrower or McMullen could do better. McMullen seems to have decent handles, so maybe there is a breakout role for him.
None of them are ready to make an impact and control the game the way Slajchert can.
Perkins could also play a role. I don't know if his handles are tight enough, but he can dribble and people will need to respect his athleticism.
Clark is a rare player who can not only drive, but who can slice and run circles through the defense to probe for weaknesses. No one else seems ready for that.

Flat out, Penn cannot contend in the Ivies without Clark. Fortunately Dartmouth at home is the next game. At 323 KP Penn should be able to beat them without Clark. That means the first tough game, Cornell in Ithaca, is still fifteen days away. Let's hope he is ready for that game. Harvard comes to Philly on the 20th.
Looking ahead, this year has always been about the future. We will see the future earlier without Clark.
