The Bulldogs, who spent a long weekend in DC, will take on Howard at 4pm tomorrow - can't imagine that tip time will be good for attendance. Howard doesn't have a phenomenal record, but they've played some decently tough competition and they've been feisty in those games. The Bulldogs will need to play well to beat Seth Towns in his eight-hundredth year of college basketball, especially on the road.

A Danny Wolf-less Yale squad leads 36-31 at half. John Poulakidas is on fire, which is the only reason Yale is up. The middle 12 minutes of the half were very lackadaisical, but the first 4 and last 4 were quality.

The defense was strong throughout, at least.

What happened to Wolf?
He has been a revelation so far.

Yale pulls it out in OT 86-78. Should never have gotten there, but a combination of stagnant offense, timely Bison shot-making, and putrid officiating helped Howard get back in it. Matt Knowling was phenomenal to start the second half as the man in the middle of the zone, and John Poulakidas found his stroke tonight in a big way. Casey Simmons headed up a dominant rebounding effort - Yale had over 20 OREB.

My guess on Wolf is that he's sick, since he wasn't even on the bench, but I can't be sure.

what is it with a zone these days?
imminently frustrated trying to get high school kids comfortable attacking it.
steph curry syndrome has these kids launching the long ball to beat the wing trap esp in a matchup zone situation

same with a press break.

anyway reminds me of the howard men and the yale zone offense
and it works on every level for a time

maybe james shld implement as a change up
i also think he shld extend the bench (like howard game) and slow play a press

in this day and age you have to change things up
and at all levels or so i have learned coaching my kids more
