Early minutes for Huggins but with Pierce and Lee on the bench the offense got very clunky.

Columbia trying to play fast paced offense by bringing the ball up the court fast and constant matching wing off ball screens forcing the Princeton D to keep chasing people all over the place. They are trying to tire us out.

We played pretty poorly. 8 turn overs and bad shot selection though we are still up by 5.

Very uneven half for the Tigers. Some nice early play but uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball. Some crazy decisions by X. jumping into the air with no place to go. They are letting Columbia stay close and that makes me nervous. Up 5 at half.

37-32. Sloppy turnovers cost us a bigger lead, but otherwise, it's a good result on the road.
De La Rosa giving Columbia a big boost in his return and Lee flashing some serious defense today. He's blocked 3 three-pointers today along with 2 steals.

Too many sloppy passes at the end, more TOs than usual. De La Rosa giving Lions a big boost.

37-32 at the half. 8 TOs and 4-14 for 3FGs. The D looked tight until the last few minutes of the half when they let Columbia go on a run. Lions are playing hard, Tigers will need to play with more precision in the second half.

Just not taking good shots. Need to get the ball down to the block and collapse the D.

I think we're playing pretty well. But it's a road game with De La Rosa back for Columbia. Healthy Lions are a very solid team.
Just gotta dig in our heels and eke out a win.

I'd like to see Pierce posting low more often. He can't do as much from the high post.

Tigers have not solved Columbia’s defense, not great ball movement and a lot of contested and well-defended shots.

Another gritty road win! Never trailed... but man that was close. Columbia played physical defense all game and they finally ran out of gas.
Other than 5-6 brain fart turnovers, this was a really good effort from the guys. Great defense and weathered some very iffy non-calls (especially in the first half).
De La Rosa is one of my favorite non-Tiger Ivy players. Glad to see him back and looking sharp... in a Princeton victory. Gamblers must have been upset to see him come off the bench and play starters minutes to keep the game close.

Agreed, tough win against a very solid and motivated Lion team on their home court. Nice to see Blake Peters be such a factor in the win.

Having seen Princeton live a few times this year, I never thought they were going to lose, even when Columbia got close. Princeton seems to have an unusually effective combination of extreme toughness coupled with lots of offensive options on every play. So much fun to watch this year!!

Agreed. You can just tell this group doesn't panic in crunch time. Even if they make a bad mistake on one end, they make up for it on the other.
I'm convinced they pull out the St. Joe's game if Pierce were on the court to secure that last defensive rebound.

Good bye to Levien, until ILT, I hope.
Hello Newman next week. Cornell will truly try to run us into the ground with depth. Allocco needs to play fewer than 38 minutes.

If anything, I was more worried that the Tigers were a tad too comfy with a single-digit lead. They forced some one-on-one moves as if possessions weren’t that important. But overall a very solid effort on the road. Great to see Peters the driller back in form, and some nice shot blocks and steals from a number of guys at key moments.

Notable: Peters has played under 30 minutes in his last 4 games and he's 13-34 from deep in that stretch (38%).
With Davis taking on more minutes, Peters is able to rest more and he's shooting like his old self again. I think many of us felt he was struggling due to heavily increased usage.
