Ugly first sixteen minutes. Down five and can’t hit anything.

Lucky to be down only 34-30. Just flat and sloppy, getting beat for every 50/50 ball. Went like 10 minutes without a FG and Dartmouth is making tough shots.

Just gotta attack the rim more and get to the line. Especially Pierce.

Down 30-34 and looking sluggish. Got to hit more shots.

Up 5. This win could be very important as Cornell and Yale are both losing right now.

Dalen Davis to the rescue! He's going to be a star for us.

Next year is going to be insane with him and Lee.

Up 11 now, with Dartmouth stuck on 40 for a long stretch. A good example of staying with defensive effort until the shooting comes around a little bit. Davis has been really good this half.

Nice recovery for the 12pt win!

Pierce is a double-double machine. In fact, that would be a good nickname for him: "The Machine." Lee was ice-cold from deep but his defense and playmaking never quit. And Davis was the sparkplug that probably saved the game.

Also, what's with teams trying to score after we intentionally take shotclock violations? There used to be standard sportsmanship and now it's just crybaby sore losers.

Agree entirely.

Now let's see if Brown can keep it together.

I don't really want Brown to win. I'd rather face Harvard than them and if we beat Cornell, we're the #1 seed. If we lose to the Big Red, then they have the tiebreaker.

And I wouldn't want to face Amaker.

I suppose the best result is Cornell losing AND Harvard beating Brown next week.

EDIT: Welp, first part of the above just happened.

I would rather play Harvard or Brown than Cornell or Yale. #1 seed is valuable.

Tigers sweep the brutal northern New England back to back. Our boys looked exhausted but they really toned up the defense in the second half and made enough shots to win.

I thought Brown was going to choke one away but they beat the Red so we have a three-way tie for first place!

Go Tigers!

As ugly as these recent wins are, I'm relieved to see the team able to win with defense and FTs. I think our guys lost touch with their gritty side after a non-conf where they had a Top 20 KenPom offense.

Ivy games (and refs) are a whole new ballgame and they've finally adjusted. Love how "handsy" they've been lately. That's how they have to play Cornell.
