Based on the number of schools that wouldn't take the NIT's call, this may be the first and last NIT bid for the Big Red.
Ohio State is a terrible draw for a variety of reasons. First, they are good and are likely better than a number of teams that received at large bids to the NCAA.
Second, and related, they took themselves out of the at large consideration by Valentines Day, and have surged after changing coaches. So, I doubt they will be doing the power conference pout at playing in the NIT.
But, I will enjoy watching my guys lace it up one more time and take another swing a Big 10 team.

Might be tough to differentiate OSU and Cornell fans by their color schemes, though.

Another trait which makes it tough to differentiate Cornell and OSU is that academically-speaking, the schools have two of the largest and finest Colleges of Agriculture in the nation.

Chris Manon is out tonight with an injury. Rough blow for Cornell but if anyone can handle it, it's them.

Good start, but I think tOSU has already gathered 100 offensive rebounds.

The whistle got a little unfriendly towards the end of the half, but Cornell has to trust their offense a bit more. They're letting the shot-blocking get to them a bit. If they can refocus, I like their chances.

The Big Red have a lot to be proud of after that. No Chris Manon, no problem. Honestly, that weak technical on Gray may have swung it all by itself. Cornell really deserved to come out of Columbus with a win.

Easy missed layup by Gray hurt, too.

Playing Ohio State so close, without Manon, on the road (with road reffing) was fantastic. No doubt Cornell wins fully healthy or at a neutral site.
If Brian stays, Cornell can handle the graduation of Manon, Gray and Hansen and be a major threat next year. It's really fun to watch Cornell when you don't have to play against them.

Great showing by the Big Red. A few missed uncontested layups and some home cooking from the feds sealed it for OSU but Cornell should be proud of hanging in there til the bitter end against a physical Big Ten team.

The set to take the lead at :50 was fantastic. I was like "why is Cornell of all teams running spread ballscreen in a huge spot?" but of course they ran an off-ball action out of it for an easy layup.

Just watched the replay. Amazing effort that deserved better. Gray the hardest working man III show business, as they used to say.

The Big Red have been a fun team to watch for the last three years, just need to get over the hump against a power conference team. Assuming they all come back, especially the coach, it's an interesting core that returns.
Still can't beleive Nazir lost his footing.
