Per Verbal Commits, Brown picked up Jacob Tar from Emory & Henry College (D-II).

Tar is a 6'7" forward from Omaha. He played in 10 games during his first year and 28 games this past season.

This year, he averaged 15.4 points & 5.8 rpg, shooting 44.3% from the field, 34.0% from 3 (53 made 3 pointers) & 77.6% from the free throw line.

I think it is Jacob Dar, not Tar.

Great bounce. Good shot. Terrific height for a guy that likely plays the 2/3. Very thin. He certainly looks like a D1 player, but he only emerged as a starter on a 5-win D2 team halfway through the season, and then went on to lead them in scoring. I sense he’s got some late bloomer in him.
