45-31 at the half with Noland and Brown making up for RDLR's lack of scoring so far. Major difference has been in Columbia's dominance of the boards.

New Hampshire doesn't seem like a very strong opponent and only has eight players in uniform. Meanwhile our women's team is playing the like of Indiana, Duke and Ball State, the #1 ranked Mid-Major in the country. Two different approaches, I suppose, to preparing your team for Ivy League play.

The rest of the schedule before Ivy play is a decent mid-major away in Albany followed by two D-IIIs and a weak mid-major (Fairfield) home, and then a good team in Rutgers.

I wish the schedule was better.

UNH is now 2 for 14 from the line tonight.

They are begging for Spinoso to enter the portal to help them improve.

83-57.

Not much of a game.

Robledo is growing on me.

It's not a bad team at all.

I watched them disarticulate Stony Brook over the weekend. They're going to be a handful in conference. Excellent guards, and the bigs are serviceable. Even Bedri looked as if he's gotten a little better. They have some depth, too.

Noland has become a first tier accomplished all around back court contributor. I have always liked his game.

Even the Princeton fans might be shaking their heads at that. Tigers have not distinguished themselves at all of late.

It's hard to believe it, but Columbia now has the longest win streak in men's Division I basketball.

Admittedly, the schedule has not been the toughest, but even when the schedule is not onerous, there is usually a slip-up. What's remarkable is then that we have not had one. Beat Albany next Wednesday where we are favored by three pts, and we could face Rutgers on December 30th with a 12-0 record.

Understood… the rankings likely won’t be too accurate for another few weeks until the voting coaches get a good sense of who’s performing well and who’s not. I noticed a few glitches in the women’s poll too.

But it’s been too long since Columbia received any attention in this poll, so it’s cause for some optimism.
