Monday the team put on a solid performance in a convincing win at Iona. Most encouraging was that they finally started hitting some 3's, which is essential to their success. We'll need to hit on at least 35-40% of 3's tonight to have any shot at the Dome.

Cornell blowing them out early, although it may not last, but they came to play.

If someone would have said at the 8 minute mark that Syracuse would be outshooting Cornell by halftime, you'd have their head examined. They started the game 1 for 15. Cornell could not take enough advantage after an early flurry.

The Orange win this one 82-72.
After being down 17-6 with ~12min to go in the first half, Syracuse got down to business, taking a 39-28 lead into the locker room.
Cornell reduced the Orange lead to 4 with ~2:30 left in the game, but could get no closer.
Game effort by the Big Red. Too much Donnie Freeman and Elijah Moore.

Cornell's offense will be a handful in the IL.
