John Poulakidas is hurt today, and Yale's offense sure looks like it. Vermont is being allowed to get away with a lot of grabbing and pulling (I suppose it'd be too much to ask for the refs to remember that they owe us from last year), but Yale just cannot get anything going. Fortunately, Vermont can't hit a jumper either. Very sloppy rock fight going into the second half.

Much better second half on both ends. Yale showed a lot more balance and quality down the stretch. Unfortunately, Bez is absolutely the leader in the clubhouse for the AJ Brodeur Most Perpetually Aggrieved Player award - it's beginning to affect his play. Glad that Yale could get a win even without John and could give some younger guys an opportunity for some real minutes, especially since Yale is one rotation piece away, I think.

vermont is garbage this year upon replay
but then their 2nd leading scorer has been out and given their offensive scheme -that is likely why.

JJ and i continue to watch the same tape. haha
this rotation was less "predetermined"

simmons is balling now and his minutes exploding to over 30. keep it up!
this is so important.

mullen is going to be good. i expected an earlier breakout based on scuttlebut. but he played tough and has a great burst on both ends. if he can dial in the 3 ball this will really open it up

sad on yassine. i dont know if its his choice but regardless its a big loss and forces young guys like mullen and brathwaite to man up quickly.

strangely when you are operating at less than the sum of parts...perhaps removing parts improves efficiency. maybe that is just hopium

playing without poulakidas and beating vermont is on its face impressive. but i guess that ignores the first line of my soliloquoy.

it gets real soon.
