I wonder how he feels. Commits to Princeton, then de-commits (for who knows why) and seems to be close to going to Iowa. But in 48 hours, Joe Scott leaves PU and Steve Alford leaves Iowa. I bet if PU acts fast and hires a coach there's an opportunity to not lose Peterson there.

Is acting fast just to get a recruit worth possibly picking the wrong coach? I'd say no.

Exactly right. It would be nice if he comes, but hopefully a coach will be around more than 4 years.

Actually, he's afraid that Gloger has eligibility left and will monopolize all the playing time.

I'm not sure it's safe or fair to presume Scott had anything to do with Peterson's de-commitment. So outside of letting Peterson pick the next head coach, I'm not sure how much they can do to get back in the driver's seat there.
