Why can't she drive to Cleveland? It's not more than a few hours difference.
Any ideas as for how I'm going to get tickets? My friend was going to order them for me, but the tickets will only be given to the season ticket holder that calls it in. Being that I'm 2 years out and not a Penn student, I'm not sure what to do. Damn. I was all ready to head to steamland.

i would say it's a 7 hour drive or so from Philadelphia to Cleveland. Philadelphia to Pittsburgh is 300 miles and it takes about 5 hours. The drive to Clevland from Pgh is 125 miles or about another two hours. All turnpike

My in-laws are from Cleveland. I find it takes me closer to 8 hours. Of course, I'm not in that big a hurry, if you know what I mean.

It's about eight hours from Freehold, NJ to Cleveland but only four to Worcester. I heard third hand that she decided that was the only location close enough; hopefully I'm wrong.
That being said, it's not very far and I hope that Tim's whole family can drive out to Ohio for the game.

Unless they've done away with it in the past few years, you can still hop a train to Cleveland. If you can stand the excitement.

So it's 10 hours to Cleveland (with 4 rest stops thrown in for good measure) and 5 hours when flying the coop. Kind of like the difference between coming from/going to services, eh?
BTW, I believe I had Penn pegged at a 13 a while back (well before Jake et al), while certain naysayers who shall remain anonymous (maybe they are visiting mishpoche in Beechwood?) were predicting a higher seed. ;-)
While Penn will probably not win, I'm reasonably confident the point differential will stay under 10 for most of, if not all of, the contest.
